Questions

How does the free trial work?

You get 3 full sessions to try everything including all Pro features. After that, Pro sections require an upgrade. The free tier stays free forever with growth trends, sources, engagement segments, and your health score.

Do I need to create an account?

No account, no password required. Payment is handled through a secure checkout link. Your analytics tool access is tied to your Substack publication, not a user account.

Is my data safe?

Your CSV data is processed entirely in your browser. Your subscriber list and analytics never leave your device. To manage your access across sessions, we store your publication subdomain and a session count.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Manage your subscription through the payment provider's portal. No questions asked, no hoops to jump through.

What can I see that Substack does not show me?

Substack shows you a subscriber count and per-post open rates. This tool adds engagement segments (who are your superfans vs ghost subscribers), cohort retention (are you keeping the subscribers you gain), source quality (which growth channels actually bring engaged readers), at-risk subscriber detection, revenue analytics with lifetime value and churn, and a composite health score. All from the CSV exports you already have.
